What is Reiki?
Reiki (pronounced ray-key) is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that promotes physical and emotional healing. It is administered by “laying on hands”, for healing energy to be channeled through the practitioner to the receiver.
The word Reiki comes from Japanese Kanji. It means Universal Life Force Energy.
Rei – Universal Spirit, Divine Essence, God Consciousness, Higher Self
Ki – Life force, vital energy, chi, light…it is present in all living things.
